How the Bonus System Works
What is a Bonus?
A bonus is extra funds added to your account on top of your regular balance. Bonuses come with conditions. most
importantly a wagering requirement, that you must complete before you can withdraw the bonus winnings.
There are two main ways to receive a bonus:
- Deposit Bonus: Automatically applied when you make a qualifying deposit (e.g., "50% up to $250 on your first
deposit").
- Voucher Bonus: Activated by entering a voucher or promo code.
When a bonus is activated, it begins tracking your bonus amount, wagering progress, and expiry date.
Your Two Balances: Regular and Bonus
Once a bonus is active, your account holds two separate balances:
- Regular Balance: Your deposited funds and any winnings from non-bonus play. This is fully withdrawable.
- Bonus Balance: The bonus funds credited to you. Subject to wagering requirements before withdrawal.
Your total playable balance is the sum of both balances. You will see one combined number in-game.
Which Balance is Used First When You Bet?
Each bonus has a configured deduction order, this determines which balance gets spent first when you place a bet.
Option A: Regular Balance First (Most Common)
Your regular (real) balance is used first. Your bonus balance is only touched if your regular balance runs out mid-bet.
Example: $10 bet with $7 Regular + $50 Bonus:
- Before bet: Regular $7.00 / Bonus $50.00
- Step 1: $7 deducted from Regular (not enough for the full $10), Regular becomes $0.00
- Step 2: Remaining $3 deducted from Bonus, Bonus becomes $47.00
- Result: $10 total deducted ($7 real + $3 bonus)
Option B: Bonus Balance First
Your bonus balance is used first. Regular balance is only touched when the bonus balance runs out.
Example, $10 bet with $30 Regular + $6 Bonus:
- Before bet: Regular $30.00 / Bonus $6.00
- Step 1: $6 deducted from Bonus (not enough for the full $10), Bonus becomes $0.00
- Step 2: Remaining $4 deducted from Regular, Regular becomes $26.00
- Result: $10 total deducted ($4 real + $6 bonus)
Note: The deduction order is set by the bonus itself, you cannot change it. It is displayed in the bonus terms and
conditions.
How Combined Balance Betting Works in Detail
No Active Bonus (or Game Restricted Bonus)
If you have no active bonus, or the game you are playing is restricted by the bonus terms, only your Regular balance is
used. You cannot bet more than your Regular balance.
Active Bonus: Regular Balance Covers the Bet
If your Regular balance alone covers the full bet, only Regular funds are deducted, regardless of the deduction order.
Your Bonus balance stays untouched.
Example, $5 bet with $20 Regular + $50 Bonus:
- $5 deducted from Regular
- Bonus stays at $50
- Displayed balance: $65 (was $70)
Active Bonus: Balance Split Across Both
When one balance runs out mid-bet, the system automatically pulls the remaining amount from the other balance. This is
seamless, you do not need to do anything.
Insufficient Total Balance
If your Regular + Bonus combined cannot cover the bet, the bet is rejected and no funds are deducted.
Important: Depositing While a Bonus is Active
This is one of the most common situations that leads to confusion. Please read this carefully before making a deposit if
you already have an active bonus.
The scenario:
You have an active bonus but your bonus balance is nearly depleted, for example, $2 Bonus and $0 Regular. You decide to
deposit $50. Your balances are now $50 Regular and $2 Bonus.
You then place a $52 bet. Here is what happens (assuming Regular deducted first):
- $50 is deducted from your Regular balance
- $2 is deducted from your Bonus balance to cover the remainder
- The bet is now considered a bonus-involved bet because bonus funds participated
The critical part: where do winnings go?
Because the bet touched the Bonus balance to complete itself, all winnings from that bet are credited to your Bonus
balance, not your Regular balance. This applies even though $50 of the $52 bet came from your own deposited money.
This also means:
- Only the $2 bonus portion counts toward the wagering requirement progress
- Your $50 regular portion does not advance the wagering counter
- But all winnings are locked in the Bonus balance and remain subject to wagering conditions
In short: you are betting mostly with your own money, advancing the wager requirement very slowly, and any winnings you
get are placed back under bonus restrictions.
What you should do before depositing:
Check your active bonus and decide:
- If you intend to complete the wagering requirement, deposit and continue playing as normal.
- If you do not intend to complete the wagering requirement, cancel your bonus first, then deposit. Once cancelled,
your regular balance is fully yours, wins go to your regular balance, and there are no wagering conditions attached.
Why this matters:
A bet that uses even a small portion of bonus funds converts the entire round into a bonus-governed bet. Your freshly
deposited money's winnings will land in the Bonus balance, not the Regular balance. You may be depositing and playing
thinking you are building your withdrawable balance, when in fact you are not.
To cancel an active bonus, go to your Bonus section in the account dashboard before making any deposit or bet.
Wagering Requirement
Every bonus comes with a wagering requirement (also called "playthrough"). This is the total amount you must wager
before you can claim your bonus winnings.
How it's calculated: Wagering Requirement = Bonus Amount x Wagering Multiplier
Example:
- You receive a $100 bonus with a 25x wagering multiplier
- Wagering requirement = $100 x 25 = $2,500
- You must place a total of $2,500 in bets to unlock the bonus
Important details:
- Only bets placed with bonus funds count toward the wagering requirement. Bets from your regular balance do not
count.
- The wagering counter tracks the bet amount, not the outcome. A $10 bet counts as $10 of wagering progress whether
you win or lose.
- Your progress is tracked automatically in real-time.
Claiming Your Bonus (and Max Cashout)
Once you have met the wagering requirement, you can claim your bonus. This is where many players get confused, so please
read carefully.
What is Max Cashout?
Every bonus has a maximum cashout limit. This is the maximum amount you can withdraw from your bonus winnings.
Example:
- Bonus: $100 with 25x wagering and $250 max cashout
- You play through the requirement and your Bonus balance grows to $400
- When you claim, you receive $250 (the max cashout), not $400
- The remaining $150 above the max cashout is forfeited
Why does this happen?
Max cashout exists to balance the risk for both the casino and the player. Without it, a large lucky win on bonus funds
could be claimed in full, which would make bonuses unsustainable. The max cashout is always disclosed in the bonus terms
before you activate it.
Is the max cashout limit fair?
Yes. The max cashout limit is a standard industry practice and is there to keep promotions sustainable for all players.
A few important clarifications:
- The max cashout is clearly stated in the Terms and Conditions of every bonus before you activate it.
- You are not losing your own money, the bonus funds were provided to you at no cost (or as a percentage match on your
deposit).
- Your regular balance is never affected by the max cashout rule. Only bonus winnings are capped.
- You can always choose not to activate a bonus and play exclusively with your regular balance.
Bonus Lifecycle
Step 1: Activate, You receive a deposit bonus or enter a voucher code. Bonus funds are added to your Bonus Balance.
Step 2: Play, Place bets normally. The system handles which balance is used based on the deduction order. Wagering
progress is tracked automatically.
Step 3: Complete, Your total wagered amount reaches the requirement. You become eligible to claim.
Step 4: Claim, You claim the bonus. The max cashout is applied. The eligible amount moves to your Regular Balance.
Step 5: Withdraw, Your Regular Balance is now withdrawable as normal.
When Does a Bonus End Early?
Your bonus will automatically end if:
- It expires, Every bonus has an expiry date (shown in the bonus details). If you don't complete the wagering
requirement in time, the bonus and remaining bonus balance are forfeited.
- Your Bonus Balance hits zero, If you lose all your bonus funds during play, the bonus ends automatically.
- You cancel it, You can cancel an active bonus at any time, but you will forfeit the remaining bonus balance.
Game Restrictions
Some bonuses restrict which games or providers you can play. If you open a restricted game while a bonus is active:
- You can still play, but only your Regular balance will be used.
- Bets on restricted games do not count toward the wagering requirement.
Check the bonus Terms and Conditions to see which games are eligible.
